Early Warnings

Post by RayScollen on Sat Jul 26, 2008 5:24 pm

Does anyone remember the warnings our parents/grand parents used to give us as kids? In particular....'don't sit on the cold steps or you'll get piles'. Well they were right.
When I was young I was called a rugged individualist
When I was in my fifties I was considered eccentric
Here I am doing and saying the same things I did back then and now I'm labelled senile

Always put clean Knickers on when you go out as you may be in an accident and taken to hospital.
